A Message from the Athletic Director...

Sportsmanship is viewed by the Stroudsburg Area School District Athletic Department as a concrete measure of our school's and individual's understanding of their commitment to the educational nature of interscholastic athletics. We must all strive to set an example of the highest ethical and moral conduct. Winning at all costs should not be placed above the most desirable ideals of character.

The administration and athletic department support our coaches. Our coaches must be respected. If a parent or a student has a concern or a question, they should contact the coach at a time removed from practice or a game to meet and discuss their concern or question. If the issue is not resolved, please contact the Athletic Director as your next step.

Officials must be also be respected for their decisions. Although fans might not be in agreement with their decisions, they are professionals who strive to perform at the best of their abilities. Their decisions should be accepted without public protest.

The Stroudsburg Area School District prohibits the use of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco use on school property (inside and outside). We must all take an active role in the prevention of drug, alcohol, and tobacco use among our students, and under no circumstances should we allow their use.
