Federal Programs

 Title I is a federally funded supplemental education program that provides funds to districts to improve educational opportunities for children.  Title I programs are designed to help children meet the state content and performance standards in reading, language arts, and mathematics. 
Title II, Part A, is a federally funded supplemental educational program that provides financial assistance to improve the skills of teachers and the quality of instruction in core academic subjects in elementary and secondary schools.
Title III is a federally funded supplemental program that concentrates on delivering language instruction educational programs to students who have a primary language other than English.  This program is designed to improve the education of limited English proficient (LEP) children and youths by helping them learn English and meet challenging state academic content and student academic achievement standards.
